Welcome to doodlesnpoodles.com home of Carter, Mercedes, Gold Rush, Dixie and Max! Our dogs are
high quality and are very playful! With six kids (ages 7 - 18) having a dogs life isn't so bad! Our dogs and
puppies are raised in the home - not a kennel - barn or garage. Dixie is Mary's dog, Mercedes is Victor's dog,
Gold Rush is Elizabeth's dog and Max - our beloved Golden Retriever is Kennys and Matthew's dog. Cindy,
not only loves her dood Snicker but also spends much time focusing her energy on Rodeo - a wonderful
half-Arabian Pony that she has trained and uses for Pony Club, Games, the Hunter Jumper Circuit and now Three Day Eventing. We live on a small 22-Acre horse farm west of Dayton Ohio. Other animals include Lilly, Lady, Bandie and Raindrop to help fill our pasture, few barn cats
that have decided to prowl the grounds in search of mice and numerous blue gill.
Goldendoodles are a fantastic Poodle and Golden Retriever hybrid cross. Having bred Champion line Standard Poodles for years we feel confident in the choice of bloodlines for our cross. Temperament, health and train ability are important in our program. Having donated dogs to the pilot program these traits are essential. Training for the Pilot Program is extensive and expensive with only the best puppies making the cut. A majority of Goldendoodles don't shed or just shed lightly. Hypoallergenic may or may not be a trait but what we have heard the chances are good! Goldendoodles exhibit a phenomenon called a;hybrid vigor. This means that the first cross between these two unrelated breed produces a wider gene pool and thus a healthier dog. The incidence of major genetic faults of both the Standard Poodle and the Golden Retriever are lowered substantially. Taking the best of both the Golden and the poodle makes for the perfect dream puppy!
